How to delete your account from YouVersion (The Bible App)

General Prerequisites

• Ensure you are logged into your YouVersion account.
• Have access to the email associated with your YouVersion account.

Steps to delete your account

1. Open your web browser and go to YouVersion's website.
2. Log in to your account using your email and password.
3. Once logged in, click on your profile picture or username in the top right corner to open the dropdown menu.
4. Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
5. In the Settings page, scroll down to the bottom until you find the "Delete Account" section.
6. Click on the "Delete Account" button.
7. A confirmation prompt will appear. Confirm that you want to delete your account by following the on-screen instructions.
8. You may be asked to enter your password again to confirm the deletion. Enter your password and confirm.
9. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.

Notes

• Deleting your account is irreversible. Once deleted, all your data, including reading plans, bookmarks, and notes, will be permanently removed.
• If you encounter any issues or do not have access to your account, you can contact YouVersion support at help@youversion.com for assistance.
• Make sure to back up any important data before proceeding with the deletion process.
