How to delete your account from Microsoft

General Prerequisites

Ensure you have access to your Microsoft account credentials (email and password).
Backup any important data associated with your Microsoft account, such as emails, files on OneDrive, and other services linked to your account.
Cancel any active subscriptions or services linked to your Microsoft account to avoid future charges.

Deleting your Microsoft account will remove access to all Microsoft services associated with that account, including Outlook, OneDrive, Xbox Live, and more.
The account deletion process takes 60 days to complete. During this period, you can reactivate your account by logging in.

Sign in to your Microsoft account:
- Go to Microsoft Account and sign in with your credentials.
Navigate to the account closure page:
